Problem
A film-editing studio wanted to sell an online course: a landing page, paid access to video lessons, and full control over content — without calling a developer for every change.
What we did
- Built a compact platform where every block of the landing page is editable from the admin panel, like a CMS.
- Gave lessons three interchangeable video sources — direct files, YouTube or Vimeo — so the studio chooses per lesson.
- Kept access simple and safe: student accounts with per-user access flags and long-lived signed sessions.
Result
The platform is live in production on the studio's own domain. Lessons, tariffs and student access are managed entirely by the studio — no developer has touched the content since launch.
Modules
- Landing CMS with A/BEvery text block, project, FAQ and gift is editable; visits and orders are counted per landing variant.
- Tariffs with inherited accessA higher tariff automatically includes lower tariffs' lessons — driven by sort order, no per-lesson mapping.
- HLS video pipelineffprobe check, stream copy when already H.264 (no re-encode), otherwise 720p; 6-second segments; original deleted after transcode.
- Protected playbackHLS playlists and segments sit behind session and tariff checks; Kinescope embeds carry the viewer's phone as a watermark.
- Student access controlSingle-device sessions, expiry dates, frozen remaining time on block, reasoned 403 messages, login log and a suspicious-account report.
- Orders to TelegramLanding orders notify the studio instantly; the bot is connected from the admin panel.
